Leuke rondritten in Slovenië
Slovenië is ideaal voor compacte rondritten: bergwegen, rivierdalroutes, oude stadjes, wijnheuvels en uitzichtpunten passen vaak in één dag. Deze voorbeelden zijn bedoeld voor gasten met auto of motor die een mooie route willen rijden zonder er een meerdaagse roadtrip van te maken.

Zo gebruik je deze routes
Zie elke rondrit als een flexibel dagplan. Vertrek op tijd, kies twee of drie echte stops en gebruik de rest van de route voor uitzichtpunten, dorpen en lunch. Bergpassen en hoge wegen zijn prachtig op de motor, maar weer en seizoenssluitingen tellen mee.
Wat voor ritten zijn het?
De kortere lussen blijven rond de Upper Savinja Valley, Logarska dolina, Solčava Panoramic Road en Jezersko. Langere lussen voegen Velika Planina, Rogla, wijnwegen of de Julische Alpen toe. De Vršič- en Soča-route is een stevige dagrit voor wie graag bochten rijdt.
Tempo van de dag
Reken meestal op 120 tot 250 kilometer, afhankelijk van waar je vakantiehuis ligt. In de bergen duren kilometers langer dan ze op de kaart lijken, dus plan voldoende daglicht voor de terugrit en maak de stoplijst niet te vol.
Praktische tips
- Controleer bergwegen vooraf, vooral in voorjaar, herfst en winter.
- Koop de juiste snelwegvignet als je snelwegen gebruikt.
- Plan met de motor tankstops voordat je afgelegen dalen of passen inrijdt.
- Vermijd populaire meren en passen midden op zomermiddagen.
- Houd een slechtweeroptie achter de hand, zoals Celje, een thermaal bad of een grot.

The classic local scenic loop: high farm roads, wide views of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Logar Valley, Rinka Waterfall and quiet side valleys. The panoramic road itself is about 37 km, so it is easy to slow down for viewpoints, lunch farms and short walks.
Best first rondrit from the Savinja Valley and especially good when guests want big views without a long transfer.
Jezersko mountain loop
Solcava / Pavlicevo sedlo / Jezersko / Kamnik

- From the Upper Savinja Valley over the Pavlicevo sedlo area toward Jezersko, then back via Kamnik or the valley roads depending on your base.

A winding alpine day with border-country roads, forest sections, Plansarsko Lake and views toward the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It is a favourite style of ride for motorcyclists because the bends are constant but the distances stay manageable.
Good for drivers and motorcyclists who want mountain-road rhythm, a lake stop and quieter scenery than the famous tourist routes.
Velika Planina and Kamnik loop
Mozirje / Kamnik / Velika Planina

- Drive from the Savinja side toward Kamnik, continue to the Velika Planina cable car area, then return by a different valley road where practical.

A varied loop with old Kamnik, mountain roads and the high pasture landscape of Velika Planina. Park at the cable car if you want the easiest access, or keep it as a driving day with a town lunch and viewpoint stops.

Rogla and Pohorje forest loop

Celje, Velenje and spa loop

This is the easy bad-weather or mixed-group route: castle views in Celje, a lake stop near Velenje, optional thermal pools in Topolsica and a gentle return through the Savinja Valley. It avoids the highest passes but still feels varied.
Best when the group wants a reliable day with history, water, food and a simple drive.
Vrsic and Soca big day
